Akay Zorlu founded Urban Habitat Studio in 2021, he is registered with the ARB, an RIBA chartered architect, accredited RIBA client advisor, urban designer, and experienced design team lead. He graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture (University College London), and the University of Westminster in London, and has over 20 years post-qualification experience in award winning practices.
He has experience in a wide range of sectors including mixed-use regeneration, housing, specialist residential, leisure, community, workspace, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure. Akay offers experience in new build, refurbishment and retrofit projects across all project stages from masterplans to the design of single buildings, as well as leading multidisciplinary design teams from project inception to construction and occupation.
