Who We Are

Urban Habitat Studio Architects is an RIBA chartered architectural design studio, based in London and working nationally. Our work is about change, which we see as a necessity and an opportunity for progress and innovation.

We believe good design impacts on all aspects of our lives, so start by listening to our clients’ and understanding their needs. We enjoy designing buildings and spaces that are unique, well designed and constructed, value for money, beautifully crafted, and sustainable.

As architects we have an obligation to reduce our impact in the climate crisis as much as possible. Minimising the embodied energy of materials, maximising the performance of our buildings in use, and prioritising retrofit and re-use of existing buildings wherever possible, are central to our work.

We are happy to be signatories of Architects’ Declare, participants of Architects Climate Action Network and committed to the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge.

We have over twenty years of experience in a wide range of sectors, offering specific expertise in housing, specialist residential, and mixed-use urban design, often working within complex and constrained sites. Our services include new build, refurbishment, strategic improvements, extensions, retrofit and interior design across all work stages, including feasibility studies, planning applications, technical design and construction management.
